Madrid`s Fashion Week

Hey everyone!
At the moment we are just in the middle of Madrid´s Fashion Week 2012 which is very exciting. By now we have only been visited by a couple of designers such as:

Roberto Verino, whose inspration has been NY and in some ways le savoir faire from Paris. Some of the things which have been impressive have been tweed trousers, cowboy hats and the transparent umbrella with glasses.

Jesús del Pozo, the inspiration has been himself and exotic cultures as well as painters like Tapies. The coolest accesories are square ending shoes and shining hair stuff, but whats really, really impressive is the long blue coat.

Francis Montesinos, his inspirations have been the cities where he has exposed, full of colours and delicate fabrics. The suitcases and hats have really impressed my, as well as the flowery dress.

Victorio y Lucchino, this time their main inspiration comes from Russia and Asia, but as always, they pay a lot of atention to Spain. Retro bags are really lovely, and the wicked accesorie have been the russian hats. The best dress from the colecction is the pink dress with black flowers.

Elisa Palomino, the inspiration has been Florine Stettheimer and "Crystal Flowers", her poetry book. All her hats are absolutely inspiring, full of flowers and butterflies. If I had to choose among all the dresses I would have no idea of which one I´d pick, they are all wonderfull!

These are not all the designers that have visited us and we are still in the second day of the week, so lets just say TO BE CONTINUED...

Polaroid

How to use a polaroid.

Some months ago I bought a second-hand polaroid, which I didn´t know how to use properly. I wasted 3 photos before going back to the shop where I had bought it, of course they were all yellowy and weird. So, today I went back to that shop and they told me how to use it the right way. This is what I learnt. (All this applies to old cameras with new reels)

  • To take the picture you´ve got two buttons, the big one is for flash, if you don´t need flash use the smaller one.
  • Put the hand on the front side of the picture while its printing, so the light doesn´t damage its quality.
  • After you should put the picture somewhere dark for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • The photo will be done by then.
  • To protect the camera, keep it up-side-down in a dark place.
  • If it´s summer keep the reel inside the fridge (this is because of the humidity)

I hope this works!!

If you need to know anything else, you can just visit this website:

They will solve all your doubts. It is the shop where I bought my polaroid and where they explained all this to me.

Some mixed stuff

Normally, when I need to get inspired, or just feel like looking at nice pics, or I´m bored, or anything, I enter a page called "Pinterest" which is kinda like a blackboard, where everyone can post stuff they like, either drawings, or pictures, or fashion fotography, even food and drink or cute places they like. It is such an inspiring web, and so, I recommend it to everyone who has some spare time.
I´ll leave here some mixed stuff I´ve liked, because there really are some awsome pics :)

this is exactly how I want my studio to be like

None of this pics are mine, they have all been picked from Pinterest, but I hope you´ve liked them :)

Seattle vintage store

Hello everyone! Seriously, we are very sorry about not have been publishing in like 4 months... but, the real important thing is that we are back, so, lets get started.

Today is the last day I´m spending in Mallorca (yes, that cool spanish island), after 4 days here. On one of those days I went shopping around Palma and I discovered such an interesting shop, SEATTLE VINTAGE STORE. It´s a shop where you can get second-hand stuff with a vintage air. Here you`ve got the link http://www.facebook.com/carlosgsm23#!/profile.php?id=100001916463232 and some pictures.

I do recognice there are some horrible accesories, but most of them are very cool

Love the jumper!

Lastly I´m obsessed with this type of shorts, they are just awsome, they match with everything and they are so stylish.

Also, I forgot to tell you, the prices are very affordable, things are not usually more expensive than 20 €. You can find it in Palma (Malloca, Spain) near the centre of the city in a little street called "San Elias".
